Re: What do you think will happen in the finale?
Okay guess i will start.
I think that in the season final, sweets and Daisy are going to get married, but this will not be the main focus of the episode.
I think that Booth and Bones will reach a turning point in this episode and i think it will have to do with Hacker. I think that Bones will finally realise her feeling because she either realises she will never find someone like booth, or she sees the wedding and wants to have that with Booth. I think that once she reaches this point she will seek advice from Cam (they have been becoming chummy), Sweets (he needs his moment, and she knows she can trust him, and she does go to him with her problems) or maybe Angela. I think that they will convince her to tell booth the truth. I think they will eventually establish that they love each other, and they will either make love, or kiss, ending the season with us not knowing what will happen to their relasionship.
Another idea( it was suggested by another person) i liked was that Booth and Bones have to get married so they don't have to testify against each other in the gravedigger trial. I think we will see part of the ceremony, then the season will end with them kissing at the alter, or even kissing at the alter, then having a deep conversation. (this is my favourite idea
)
either way i think we are going to get a cliffy, that will be about if they will or wont enter a relationship.

Re: What do you think will happen in the finale?
I think the finale will be the Gravedigger trial. Like SN said, it's a very emotional episode and the trial would definately be that.
IMO, the trial will be Booth getting unconfused about alot. All season it's been about him being whiney, pouting and unsure. But what happens when he has to face the truth? That is what a trial is about. He'll have to examine all the facts.
The same goes for Brennan. Though she may feel a deep emotional connection to Booth, is it love?
What happens if the Gravedigger is set free because the jury found that the feelings they have for each other interferred with the investigation?
I could easy see these two stare at each other as they realize they are in love with the other. But when you add in the fact that the Gravedigger is free because of that love, what do you do?
Season 6 is them going in that they love each other but is it worth it? They wouldn't see other people because they know they love each other and it would be like cheating to them. They'll have cases that show where they should be together and other cases showing where they should not be together. Same goes for their friends.
As far as the GD being killed, I could possibly see this as an episode next season possibly over a couple episodes.
With this scenario they will be able to keep up the UST for another season but that would be it. Towards the end of Season 6 they find out if it is or isn't worth it. Is their own personal happiness overruled by murderers being set free?

Re: What do you think will happen in the finale?
Oh, I thought of something mean and nasty!
What would happen if B&B admitted their love in Episode 20? Us fans would be elated!! We would see them together for the last two episodes of the season!
Then SN/HH will rip them apart by letting the GD go free in Episode 22 like I wrote in my last post!
Man, all the hearts would be broken as B&B found happiness only to have it ripped apart by letting the one person who hurt them the most go free. Not only did the GD literally bury them but now they have to bury the feelings they have for each other to figure out if it is worth it.
Drippy
P.S. Damn, I can be poetic sometimes!!

Re: What do you think will happen in the finale?
I've been thinking if they put Diggy's trial as the finale? And if the notion (that's been mentioned in here before) they'd possibly pursue the idea of the BB partnership in danger storyline?
If they go for either or both these storylines (Both could work? Were both their partnership and Diggy walking free are put on the line?)...it boils down to the same thing. The question being are Booth and Brennan TOO emotionally attached to one another? (Easy answer: YES!
) But, ironically, in order to stay together/convict Diggy they'd have to argue the reverse. So it wouldn't just be Diggy's fate decided but B&B's.
There have been some lovely themes running through this season...But I'd say the arch that runs from EitB is the theme of love. Love in isolation (Hodgins and Booth) The acceptance of the existence of love (Brennan) and the things we do for love. This especially. The things we do for others with no gain for ourselves (in fact sometimes whilst benefiting the other person, it causes personal heartache) Brennan's gift to Booth in Proof in the Pudding (Not a plastic pig or smuf or glittering Christmas Tree) was a gift he'll probably never realise she gave to him. (A secret, despite saying...whilst under Booth's sink...that they had no secrets!)
Booth's gift to Brennan? I've been rethinking his "atta girl"!
His desire to tell Brennan he loved her was...to a certain extent...motivated from a selfish standpoint. To prove the brain scans wrong, to prove Sweets wrong and to release the burden from within his own heart. The "atta girl" was a pull back, Booth realising that this was a burden that would make Brennan flounder not fly.
I digress!
The "proof" that they could use to support that Brennan's decisions with regard to Diggy/BB partnership is too close for comfort? Sweet's Book? The fact she asked him to father her child? Brennan's note?
Counterpoint? All Brennan's actions are governed by logical and rational thought! And...you know...they are seeing other people (well,
and
have to have some use?) And in testifying that they are not that emotionally attached to one another...the penny finally drops!
But what will the court/FBI decide? Was Diggy's case marred by personal feelings and anger? Are Brennan and Booth nothing more than G Man and Squint?
Love would be on trial. They would have to argue against their feelings in order to stay together/convict Diggy.
An admission of love? A kiss?...Their partnership is safe/Diggy is jailed...But now they have to work together in Season six...Tension? Summer hiatus? Quetions?

Re: What do you think will happen in the finale?
I saw this and it made me smile. I don't know if I agree wholeheartedly that Booth's motivation to tell Brennan was selfish really. I understand what you're saying, but I'd rather reclassify it as something more along the line as a compulsion, which is what initial proclamations of love regularly are. I like the idea of him pulling back for the reason you stated, much better than thinking that he pulled back out of fear of rejection or possibly being unclear in his own feelings.TinkonBrink wrote:I've been rethinking his "atta girl"!His desire to tell Brennan he loved her was...to a certain extent...motivated from a selfish standpoint. I don think that he told bones he loved her out of spite, because when he was talking to Cam, he gave off the impression that he was planning to tell her all along. But i do agree that he did not pull out of fear, he pulled out because he saw the look on her face and felt he had burdened her. But it was a shame he didn't wait a little while, he would have realised that after the shocked look on her face, she began to smile.

Re: What do you think will happen in the finale?
Okay, so I'm not one much to follow spoilers closely so please forgive me if I'm making a big deal out of nothing, but I just had to come in here and post this. I was just on Twitter and looked up Hart.

That's his latest tweet, so I clicked on the link.

I couldn't really read what was on the screen, so I looked at it full size (see the TwitPic version). You know what that title is??
I don't know about you, but this has me all kind of excited!

Re: What do you think will happen in the finale?
YES! YES! YES!
Oh, this is definitely exciting! (In fact so exciting it got me to stop lurking and start posting;))
I'm really starting to think the opening scene in last year's finale was supposed to be the REAL B/B one year in the future, namely NOW!
I've had that theory for a while and there's quite some evidence to support that...
For example, the 2 different sets of alarm clocks in the first 2 scenes of EitB: They must have some kind of purpose. NOTHING was at random in EitB so there must be some kind of deeper meaning to them.
IMO, Hodgin's VO "[...] is she the same person she was a day ago, a year ago?" also has deeper meaning. The "a year ago" comment could be a hint that it's set one year in the future.
And now this episode title?!? "The Beginning in the End"?!? It could either refer to the beginning of the B/B relationship or the beginning scene of EitB. At this point, I really wouldn't be surprised if this year's season finale ended with an almost identical scene to last year's opening scene...
I hope I'm not getting my hopes up too much but I think chances are still pretty good that SOMETHING good is bound to happen;)

hehe I LOVE that this is where they are going with the finale. I'm still reserving judgement, but based on the title I can see this making me very happy

i had the same thoughts as well! Especially the 1 year thing, i said another post i though it meant that season six IS he life she was leading a year ago.
And i was hinting how great would it be if they ended the season with B&B having real sex, then the camera zooms in on the alarm clock next to the bed, then the screen fades to black.

I think the first scene of EitB will simply be the last scene in the BitE. It just seems logical. In which case HH is just pure genius...
No AU, no dreaming just straight up B&B nookie!

This is what I was thinking too, and it would be EPIC!!! ......that being said I'm not counting my chickens yet, I'm afraid if I get too excited I'll be disappointed if that's not the route they go.
