What do you think will happen in the finale?

I'm torn between us actually seeing that sex scene in this finale. I'm convinced we'll see it eventually, but I'm not sure it'll be this season. Brennan had a ring on her finger, and they exchanged "I love you's" like they'd said it many times before. I'm not sure we'll get that scene just yet.

I dunno... What do you guys think? Is it too soon for that scene to appear at the end of this season?

I'm all for them getting together, but ring on Brennan's finger? I love you sex? All this happening in a couple of episodes?

I don't think the ring will be there, I also don't think it will be a direct recreation, as none of the instances that relate back to tEitB have been. but I think that if the title of the episode is any indication that it will parallel the scene in tEitB

This is what I was thinking too, and it would be EPIC!!! ......that being said I'm not counting my chickens yet, I'm afraid if I get too excited I'll be disappointed if that's not the route they go.

Yep im totally the same, if that doesn't happen i know it will happen in one episode! Either way this episode shall be a feast.

Actually when i think about it, it might be a little too soon for a ring to be on her finger....

I wouldn't expect it to be the exact scene. a ring is way too soon and brennan actually wearing a ring? I never could see that. I also am not sure we'd get a real romp. But...that's not the important part of that scene.

The important part that always stuck out to me was the "Do you love me?"

"Want me to prove it to you?" I deff think that will be the final line of this season.David said earlier this year this season would be all about him proving his love. which we have yet to see.

That would be another great ending as well.

I completely agree that those lines were the most important part of that scene.

I would love that scene or something similar to occur, i would love to see them having sex for real, saying the i love you's, then the camera zooms in on the alram clock by the bed, and fades to black.

Those lines should definitely be included...

As for the ring: It doesn't have to be a ring given to her by Booth. It could simply be her mother's ring, she's usually wearing it anyways...

But the ring she has on in that scene is not her mothers ring. It's big, shiny and diamondie!

You're right, my mistake. I hadn't even noticed that. I went back and watched the scene again... That's definitely a diamond ring...

I've announced somewhere that I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it's B&B getting married this season. Okay, I know, it's a longshot but you can't win if you don't play, so that's my bet. Anyway, I keep seeing "it's too soon for them to get married."

How do you figure that? These two know each other through and through. IMO the only thing left for them to do is say "I love you" and "tie the knot." Once they make that declaration, what's there to wobble about? Does anybody seriously think they would change their minds? So what rational reason could there possibly be for having a long engagement?

Okay, so it might be a bit of a stretch to think that Brennan will indeed want to marry, but they've handled that with her utterings about marriage so that one's not such a stretch anymore. I'm thinking the only thing up in the air would be whether Brennan will remain "Dr. Brennan" or whether she'll be "Dr. Brennan-Booth"?

I lurk here daily, rarely post, but just had to share that I am literally giddy with the possibilities.

I agree with the above posters. I am seeing the end scene be a repeat of the beginning scene of EitB. Especially with the same line "Do you love me?". I think a nice twist would be to have Booth say that line this time.

I've had the thought about B/B being the ones getting married, too, and I still haven't completely given up on it.
It's not very likely to happen but we all know how HH likes to shock people in finales and would definitely be something noone is seriously expecting;)
But I guess we just have to wait and see what happens;) Why is April still so long away?!?

Wrong guy to ask - IMO it's never too early for that scene, in fact I think the firing range during the pilot would have been fine with me, I mean Brennan is just soooo *grrr*, ya' know?

I do hope we'll get the option 4 scenario (at least as far as B&B goes), 'cause I'd love to see them do the whole 'ILY' excange followed by Booth proving his love to Brennan...then to be fair she should prove her's right back. In fact I'm good for that being about 40% of the episode.

I just joined today...and here is my take. It might not be to early for them to get married. They are doing the 100th epi where B/B go back in time and we see them where right before the pilot picked up. So we get more background on them. I can see that leading to a possible marriage. We shall see. I can see where there are MANY different scenario's that HH can take. And like a lot of people on here....he is good at what he does...and he can make people talk!
