What do you think will happen in the finale?

Not sure but ANYTHING has to be better than the Finale last year

I saw this theory mentioned somewhere else and I'm still deciding whether it's plausible or not, but it got my interest nonetheless...

What if B&B have been together during this season already and the finale is when it all comes out? It would kind of put all those B&B moments into perspective and the shipper in me thinks its an ultra-cute idea, but I am struggling as to how Hacker et al would fit...

you mean like...together in secret sort of thing? that theory wouldn't be all that horrible although the hacker stuff just doesn't jive with it. i do admit it's interesting and fun to think of those things.

I'll also admit I've shamelessly pondered the marriage scenario more than is probably healthy at this point lol It really seems as if they are setting it up to be hodgins and angela. Especially with the recent sides that have come out.

BUT....I wouldn't put it past hart to put out fake sides just to throw us all off OR set it up so that it seems it's hodgins and angela but in the end it's not at all like the end of season two where they end up not getting married.

Right now, the only way I could see them going from not even admitting their love to getting married is in two possible ways. A. they get married so that they don't have to take the stand against each other in the gravedigger trial. I could totally see Caroline suggesting this.

B. They admit their love and bones just blurts out "let's get married." like she did with the "I want a baby." It would be a very brennan like thing to do and she has made great strides in the marriage department.

I like scenario A. better personally. It would set up season six to be all sorts of fun. It opens up all kinds of questions like can they be partners and married? Do they want to stay married once the trial is over? Can they even survive as a married couple? It would be kind of like putting them together...but not.

But i had a really bad though, what if they admit their feelings and decide to start something, then on the last few seconds, booth gets a call saying that the grave digger has bones. I dint think it will happen, but stilll.....

Here is what Im thinking. Brennan hit the gravedigger in that episode hero in the hold. The gravedigger files assault charges. The only way to get Brennan charges drop is to let is to let the gravedigger go free. The asssualt charges would end brennan and booths partnership. They decide (probably more brennan) to not drop charges because more lives would be lost. Threrefore, the partnership that both hold so dear is destroyed.

Can you even file any charges while you are in jail though? brennan was charged with shooting someone before and they not only still let her work with booth...but also go out in the field so i'm not sure it would be enough to end a partnership. However, if the grave digger gets off b/c her defense finds too many errors in the way they found out she was the GD, they could blame it solely on the fact that booth/brennan are so close and it's interfering with their work. It would be interesting to see them together but not partners. Yet, you know they would still try working cases together in secret. like mulder and scully did on the x-files.

Yes so it wouldnt be a first offense. There would be lots of publicity with a case like this, so they wold want one errors also hacker may want them split so he wont ahve to compete with Booth.

I think in the final there has to be something to do with hacker, i mean he really has had a big role considering he is only Bones "coffee buddy". i think he might severe their partnership, otherwise why else would be be the deputy director, as opposed to a random guy or even booth friend, it just doesen't fit for him to be the deputy director, and they have made it very clear he is booth boss.

well anyway i could just be apranoid, but this hacker is a bit fishy

I agree that he was definately brought in to stir things up and make things difficult. I think that he could meddle with a whole lot of things using the authority he has, there is definately something going on with him, something not right. Will be interesting to see if he has an ulterior motive to getting close to Brennan.

Ahh it is good we see eye to eye.
I think there is most certainly a reason he is such an authority figure.
And i also find his fixation with Bones weird, and the fact he is trying to warm up to Booth, even though he clearly didn't care for him in NatB.

1. I think Hacker's only ulterior motive is sex.

2. I think his fascination with Bones is
a) because she's beautiful
b) because she's actually dating him
(I know it mirrors my own horror/amazement when I ask myself why on earth she would go out with him... he's NOT charming).

3. I think he thinks Booth is a good agent but a rival for Bones' affections. (See signature below if a reminder is needed about the stunningly different levels of attractiveness/awesomeness between the two)

I don't give Hacker credit for having any more intelligent motives beyond those three. He's been far too one-dimensional of a character so far, but I agree - he's just fishy and ishy.

yeah this is pretty much how I view Hacker too.
