Re: Dumb Bones Question
Yep, actually there are days when it seems that the Canadian/Aussie axis has us 'Mericans outnumbered, and other days when we're definitely dominated by Germans and their erudite Estonian allies, some topics just draw a different crowd. This one pulled in Texans and Northerners.DBCrazy wrote:Oh by all means no, not around here. We've got many Aussies and Canadiens and all kinds of Europeans on here. South and Central Americans too. I watch the "Who's Online?" map now and again and see some people on from Russia, Japan, China, Israel, Iran...jcn747 wrote:So is everyone from America and stuff??
It's just that this topic kind of struck a note with some of us, and we seem to be a bit long-winded on the subject!
RMTexas, its a whole other country
Re: Dumb Bones Question
I was gonna say...stick a couple of Texans in the room, and next thing you know, we can expand upon the conversation and make it last hours long...and it be about nothing other then our favorite state. I mean, which other state can proudly claim our distinction? We have every thing here. As someone put it, (Along with the CW band..Little Texas..) God Blessed Texas by his own hands!! I will say this, when I head to Bandera to see my folks, and I round one of the hills....it certainly seems that God made Texas his personal play ground. (Of course, I have to admit a fondness for the Rocky Mountains!) Though, my one true football love will always be the Boyz!!! As far as BB...I grew up a Rockets fan, but have no love lost for the game and will root for the Spurs!!!
Btw....to bring this back to Bones...did anyone know that TJ Thyne claims TX roots? Although he wasn't born here....he attended HS in Plano!!

Re: Dumb Bones Question
Heh, TJ's a Texan? Awesome! Now if only we could lay claim to Emily...ah, heck, She's perfect just the way she is, not even being from Texas could improve on her.jjrobinson73 wrote:I was gonna say...stick a couple of Texans in the room, and next thing you know, we can expand upon the conversation and make it last hours long...and it be about nothing other then our favorite state. I shall resist the urge to post a Wikipedia link, and add that I can only wonder what all this must sound like to a Brit!SwaggerHeart wrote:Im from england and have no clue as to what is a panhandel isEither way reading the discussion is oddly entertaining

WOW so i did not even realise there were so many people, i just assumed that because Bones is more up to date in like Canada America etc, that most of the members would be from there.

Exactly. My whole family lives there and so that's pretty much the only panhandle I grew up with, so it didn't confuse me at all.
