If you don't know what personality types mean, then you can go to [Only admins are allowed to see this link] and take the free test to see what type you are. They go like this:
Introvert/Extrovert
Intuitive/Sensing
Thinking/Feeling
Judging/Perceiving
Definitions for these terms are here: [Only admins are allowed to see this link]

Re: Brennan's Personality Type (INTJ)
well lab tech is on the list, maybe that is why I feel I relate to Brennan in some ways and just really love the show.

Funny, I'm an ISTP and they pegged my career choice right. I wonder what Em's is - I bet she's ISFP. David's definitely ESFP, totally.

I highly HIGHLY doubt Emily is an I...gotta go with E for Em! Yes, that was a lame joke.

Re: Brennan's Personality Type (INTJ)
I thought about that but David's an ESFP and it fits him perfectly - he's not just outgoing he's practically the class clown at times. Em doesn't strike me like that, she's personable, friendly, outgoing and all, but also she seems rather private and retiring to some degree. I wouldn't get too hung up on the "I" in ISFP, after all I'm an ISTP and I guarantee you that no one's going to mistake me for the shy type. I'm personable and make aquaintances easily because I've learned to o so and it gives people the impression I'm outgoing but I'm actually a rather private person. I've always imagined Em to be the same way, someone who mixes easily but is only really herself with people she's truly comfortable with.Meegs82 wrote:THX1138 wrote:Funny, I'm an ISTP and they pegged my career choice right. Hmm, shame we can't just get her to take the test for us. Okay Meegs, next time you talk to Em ask her to take the test (and don't forget to mention me).

I hear ya and I think that ^^^ accurately describes her about her being outgoing yet private. But somehow, I still think that there is no way she's and "I." I totally agree with you on the "SFP" though. I actually just took this test a couple of months ago (for the second time) and I'm an ENFP...I think...crap, I could be ESFP. Sensing vs. Intuitive is kind of a tricky balance and my friend who gave me the test told me more people split on the S vs. N 'cuz they're kinda hard to distinguish sometimes (she's getting her Master's in counseling).
And now I've rambled,

Rambling is my specialty.
Glad we're in agreement. Hey, where did you find the info about the matching of personality types? Can you give me a link? Now I'm REALLY curious as to which one I was...ENFP or ESFP. I can't remember and it's really bugging me!
I suppose that if we got Em's results, there would be absolutely NO denying that the two of you are made for each other!

Oh, I'm totally going with the whole "Em and I are made for each other" theory, locked it in the vault and it's good to go AFAIC!
Re: Brennan's Personality Type (INTJ)
I find it interesting that my job choice is on the list with f. anthropologists. Who knew librarians were like that?
I couldn't get my results from that test, but I can guarantee you I'm an I! At least in person. No idea about the rest.

Re: Brennan's Personality Type (INTJ)
Thanks, Rob! Ya, I am DEFINITELY an ESRP. Describes me perfectly! It's really fun to actually take the test and then get matched with a career. Hmmm...funny how ESFPs do well being actors/entertainers.

Re: Brennan's Personality Type (INTJ)
Actually I totally see you as an I and a F. Anthro, I don't know why I just get that vibe. Funny, if I had to compare you to someone in the Bones-verse I'd actually pick Tempe from the books. You're smart with a wicked sense of humor, passionate, focused, insightful, and intelligent. Hey, you should be a F. Anthro my Queen, you'd totally rock at it!dawnsfire wrote:I find it interesting that my job choice is on the list with f. anthropologists. Who knew librarians were like that?

Nah, science isn't much my thing. 'Twas a Bachelor's in the Arts I earned, after all! (never mind the elusive MLS is a Master's in Library Science!)

Re: Brennan's Personality Type (INTJ)
You know I've got a friend who went for the MLS, that's a damn hard degree to come by. Folks blow off Library Science but few understand what a really complex field of study it is, or the vagaries involved in getting a graduate degree in same.dawnsfire wrote:Nah, science isn't much my thing.
