HOLY COW. Brennan looks like she is crying/on the verge of tears in the present day photo where she is pushing Booth away. Batten down the hatches, people. This one is going to be a doozy.

Okay i think i got what happens. Bones is ready to admit she loves Booth, she is ready to believe loves more than a chemical reaction, but i think she is still scared. She loves Booth so much and the only thing worse than not having Booth is losing him, so she says no. I think potentially they kiss or sleep together, which makes her realise how much more she loves him and how far they could potentially fall, like Angela said "when it goes bad, it goes really bad".

So thy are both emotionally shattered, and then in the next episode they have to pretend to be married which can either make her realise how much more she loves Booth or, more likely , after they stop being "married" she is sad and she has a taste of what it could feel like ending a relationship with booth, so this puts them Both in a terrible position emotionally, and not to mention major dejavu from the come/dream.

So they are now stuck between wondering if they can really work together. They don't want to jeopardise anything, and they know how far they can fall and how bad it would be if they were to have a break-up. So int their opinion the only thing left to do is try and move on, and date other people. So they go and have dates with Mr. Forehead and catfish.

This also explains why Bones is planning on going to Malaysia, because when she is emotionally afraid or upset she will either right a book (tEitB) rebound to another guy (Hacker and SUlly) or she runs away (her christmas digs). But in the end i am really hoping they will sort it out, and i think they will. I am still holding into the possibility of Bones being pregnant, but think the more likely option be Bones going to Booth house at the last minuet and asking him "do you love?" ad him replying "do you want me to prove it you", then screen fades to black. No-one knows what is going to happen and then there is going to major speculations throughout the hiatus and come the premier the reviews will be sky high.


This theory could also support a pregnant Bones, if they sleep together and Bones becomes pregnant, it could forces Booth and Bones to talk, and this would also prevent bones form going to malaysia.

Definitely! Panic/desperation are what I see on his face. I hope that they haven't said it to each other right before this because panic and sad tears were not how I imagined that scene to happen! But knowing TIIC, they would think of some crazy way for them to admit love.

As soon as I saw the present day photo, I knew something big is going to happen, but there are sooo many possibilities.

I would bet that Booth tells Brennan he loves her and she tells him that they can't have a personal relationship and work together. I wonder if she says ILY as well. If she doesn't and the end scene plays out like the pic suggests then it really will be team Booth v team Brennan in the aftermath LOL !!

Coz the way this is going I'm gonna need one for the 100th, then the and debacle with "coffee" and new ties and whatnot...and then the finale...with the 'running away from the big scary feelings will solve everything' plot....Yup. Well I wanted some angst so is it bad that I'm kinda happy about that pic? Also I cannot wait for this episode!

That picture kind of crushed me a little. I'm glad I've read the spoilers so I know what to expect. Regardless, it's still gonna hurt. That being said, I really believe they have set up these last 8 episodes to potentially be some of the biggest and best ever.
I remember reading an interview a few months ago with JFD saying Booth's feelings will prevail, and although we have not seen any real proof of this yet in the sides for the finale, I'm holding out hope that HH fixes this and resolves it by the end of the finale.

I almost want to save up the last 8 episodes and watch them all at once, so as not to prolong the agony.

Except, there is no way I would ever have the willpower to do that. Although, maybe I will after I tunnel into the bomb shelter with Tink.



Both of those present day BB pictures are heart-crushing. Eek. I don't like the angst.

I love the angst! It makes me dizzy with emotional B&B delight! The looks, the touching, the intensity...

I still remember the post from awhile ago that we will wonder what the 'hell' the writers are doing until the finale. We will then be all smiles.
