Rena Sofer talks 'Bones'

Just a small mention from Rena Sofer aka Catfish on 'Bones'. It is in the last paragraph of the article. I love what she had to say!

I'm just happy that this Rena Sofer chic says she wants to say on NCIS because she can't do both NCIS and Bones? Can she? I still think that nothing serious will happen with her and Booth because he will end up with Bones eventually. And he can't just fall out of love with Bones.

Well being that both characters are recurring, as long as the schedules don't conflict, yes she can do both shows. But I don't think her character on Bones was ever meant to be long term recurring....

I dont' think she was ever meant to be recurring. Ausiello is the one who put that in our heads. We see her in "Predator" and she is mentioned in "Rocker". That's it. Unless I missed something in the sides.

I think she was purely brought in to 'appear' in one or two episodes to rock the boat slightly and then if needed be a character that was only mentioned but not seen. Eventually the character may not be needed and she won't need to appear again.

Predator is the one episode I'm NOT looking forward too. I would like to apologize in advance to my TV for yelling at it.

yeah i'm not looking forward to predator either. via the sides...we know one of the last scenes is a bunch of them gathered at the founding father's. not sure if booth is there or not. but, I can tell you RIGHT NOW....if the final scene of the episode is bones watching sadly as booth is on a date with catherine....I will cry because Emily is way too good at that broken little girl look. Seriously. She should patten it. How do her friends and family in real life even handle that look without wanting to die inside?

I don't think I will see this episode because if they even show Booth and this girl kiss, I'm gonna cry. And if Brennan runs into them at the founding fathers on their date, I will definitely cry.

But I don't think the Catfish will be a recurring character because the article said, "It looked liked" which could mean that HH&CO. were considering making her a recurring character, but she will only be in 1 episode now because she only wants to do NCIS. Also, if Booth admits his feelings to Bones in the 100th, he can't just fall out of love with her 2 episodes later because that's just not Seeley Booth, so I don't think any thing will happen except a couple dates and those dates won't mean anything to him if he really is in love with Bones. (I wonder if some fans actually thought that Booth was going to have a serious relationship with the Catfish and possibly marry her???) And I don't think Booth will be too heart crushed and he will probably just give Bones some time to think about it.

I don't think we have anything to worry about because he will end up with Bones anyways.
