I'm pretty sure ( like 98 percent) that the cab scene is in the past, Brennan is wearing the same clothes and hair as she is when she's about to kiss Booth, and he has Season1! hair in that scene so it's def in the past. Regarding Hodgins and Zach, if you watch the really early episodes, they are friends but Hodgins picks at Zach a LOT, so it would make sense to me that they didn't like each other at first.

This promo is so good!! I thought that it would be easy to distinguish past scenes from the present ones but I cannot... so now I think that I'm a bit stupid! I don't know why but I keep on thinking that the cab scene is the present! Just some days more and we will know the truth!!

i think the cab scene is in the past because it looks like she has the pony tail on. it is very hard to tell. i bet they did that on purpose those tools! j/k.

I'm just confused. if the cab scene is in the past...and that's how their little flashback ends...why do they hate each other in the pilot? because she is waving...and it seems to be a nice gesture. unless they explain that something happens later to unravel it all.

I'm like 95% sure that the cab ride in the past, but I don't think it's the end of the flashback because she's waving at him, and then the pilot, she hates him, unless they explain what went wrong. I'm thinking they get drunk, she she kisses him, the lines, "When we stop working together, than we can have sex," and I'll call a cab, and then maybe he gets call about work, so he says he'll meet her at her apartment and he never shows. In the pilot, Booth was talking to his boss about how she doesn't want to work with him anymore because she helped him solve a case, and he didn't give her any credit, but he could he could be lying to is boss because he doesn't want to tell him that he was going to have sex with squint or it could be an inconsistency in the story line. I don't know. I can't wait 3 more days.!!!!

Now I really wanna see this episode!!!! 2 days!!!
