I've been thinking about doing the same thing actually. I have enough angst in my life, why add Bones-relationship angst to it! I've never actually seen Truth in the Lye, I heard about Booth's flings in it and decided to avoid it. Once Booth and Brennan are together as a couple then I'll be able to watch it!
