Seeley Booth was sitting in his office. He had just dropped off his partner at the airport for her year dig.

He had turned down a chance to do training and was going to be reassigned to other work for a year.

He was miserable. He had tried he really had with Catherine. She was nice and pretty but they had as much chemistry as a dog and a cat.

She had understood when he had ended it. They would be friends.

He was sitting there feeling miserable when he saw a poker chip land on his desk.

He looked up to see his partner standing there.

He was shocked speechless and then his heart was filled with joy when she said "I'm ready to take that gamble. On us. We're worth it."
