Why I'm leaving

This and my other story Ready To Gamble are my 2 different scenarios for the end of this season. Both will be multi chapter and fluffy and angsty with some M thrown in possibly.

Part 1

Booth, Brennan, Hodgins, Angela, Sweets and Cam had had dinner and drinks at the Founding Fathers for a send off for Brennan for her dig.

After everyone else had left and hugged her goodbye Booth and Brennan were alone.

Booth said "I will miss you while you're gone. Keep safe. I wish you weren't going. Why? I thought you wanted to keep working together."

Brennan said, "I can't work with you anymore. It's too much."

Booth asked, "Why?"

Brennan answered "Because I missed my chance with you. It's too late and I can't live with it. You have Catherine now and you're happy. I should have taken the chance when you gave it to me. In another year I'll be able to deal with it but not now."

She got up to leave in tears and Booth was stunned speechless but he grabbed her arm and asked "What if I told you it's not too late?"

he will never be happy with a fake Brennan---!!!

Part 2

Booth got her to sit next to him and said "Bones, I love you, you know that. The reason I was moving on because I thought you would never love me or want to be with me."

Brennan said, "It's not going to be easy, Booth, but I want to fight for this. Maybe I needed a wake up call, I needed to almost lose you to realize how much I needed to be with you."

Booth said, "I will put up with hell and high water to be with you. As long as we both agree this is what we're fighting for it will be okay. And the truth is I broke it off with Catherine. Even if we couldn't be together I was being unfair to her by not being in it with my heart."

Brennan said, "To show you how much I'm commited, you know how I feel about psychology but I think we can have Sweets and Gordon Gordon help us through this. We have a lot of issues to work out but we're going to do it together."

Booth said, "As long as we're together it will work out. It's not going to be quick, it may take awhile but it's worth it."

Brennan said, "Oh and before I forget something else. I love you."

Booth said, "I love you too."

Brennan said, "And before I do anything else I need to call and canceli my participation in the dig."

To be continued. We got a journey here but it's going to be a bumpy but fulfilling ride.
