Will David always be Angel or Booth?

I only recently started watching Bones, and even more recently started watching Angel...so he was Booth first for me and that's what I will remember him most as. When watching Angel, there are things that "Angel" does and I'll think "what a Boothy thing to do".

Foremost, Booth. Admittedly, I got to know DB through Bones because I wasn't really into TV until I started watching this show. I have gone back to see Angel and Buffy (S1-3). And I must add that Angel is a very compelling character and probably (dare I say) more developed than Booth is - less continuity errors, more complex, etc. It also gave DB a greater acting range because Angel is also Angelus.

but i say that because i have never watched Angel or Buffy before
