DB as a director
What do you think?
I am just rewatching the 100th, as it is just airing here. I think he has a wonderful eye for directing, and this episode has some beautiful scenes. I am just transfixed in some scenes with his direction.
Do you think he has another career post acting?

Re: DB as a director
I think he can definitely direct. Although I admit I never really notice direction when I'm watching an episode, and people only really pay attention when an episode is being directed by someone they know. I don't think David would be a master of it, but I suppose he could make a decent career of it if he really wanted to. He does seem to know what he's doing, which is a good start for any director. Which scenes were you transfixed by? Maybe I should go back and watch xD

I love the scenes done in the hall. I think the building probably had a lot to do with it, but I really liked the way that whole sequence was shot.

DB is a fantastic director. I absolutely loved the shot outside the pool hall in the 100th. The angle was brilliant.

Yep, this was a beautiful shot! Also, kind of a weird one to mention but the shot in Sweets office where he hands him the water glass and the camera is angled all "long shot" from Sweets to glass to DB's arm... very cool shot (so cool in fact that it looked slightly out of place cause it was much more dramatic than the scene around it!) IMO
