Re: The Upfronts
I was kind of hoping she'd be on a talk show too. I mean it's a season finale, that's a good excuse.

Re: The Upfronts
i was surprised because i know she started work on that movie last week. it's nice she could get time off from that. the more i think about it, i bet they were both committed to this upfront thing awhile ago. The networks plan this pretty far in advance. it's like the fashion week of TV.
Upfronts are when the companies sell their adds for commercials and stuff. the bigger the buzz for your show, the better advertisers you get. that's how the networks make money. It was silly of me to think they wouldn't go. I had lost my mind for awhile I think lol Of course emily/david would have to go for bones, they are the bones gravy train.
If anyone is interested in this process (i'm a freak and read way too much) there is a great book called "desperate networks" that goes into detail about the upfronts and how networks in general work. it's actually REALLY interesting.

Re: The Upfronts
I cannot wait to see some great pictures of Emily! I didn't think she would be showing up because of her movie.
I am sure she is contracted to go though.

Re: The Upfronts
Even if she is filming, she may not be needed on the set every day or I'm sure it was all worked out between her and the movie people before hand.
I like the new 'do too.

Re: The Upfronts
Hate the hair. It's been too short and straight this year anyway, but the bangs...ugh. Bring back season 2 hair.
I have to admit this opinion is the result of a severe childhood trauma caused by having bangs and a big brother who said I looked like an auditorium curtain that was about to close.

Re: The Upfronts
I don't mind the short hair but i'm not liking the bangs....i thought I did at first. I know no girl wants to be compared to her sis but I think the bangs look better on zooey. her face is longer.
I hope the stylist on bones can work with this do instead because i have no been fond of the bones hair styles lately.
