it's always awkward with a camera pushed in your face and people asking you direct questions, because they have an opinion about you. The media isn't exactly creating an ideal situation to fix his marriage.

Must say I liked the cute kiss pic, looked genuime

I am a stepmom, and it is HARD on my little boy to bounce back and forth between families. He misses his half brothers (he has one at each house) and everything is just different, I mean, even the food that I cook compared to hers is different. That is a lot for a little kid.
I'm not sure that I could stay with my husband after a public humiliation like this, but is JB is willing to try, then GOOD FOR HER. And there's no way that they would be all cuddly if they are still working out their issues, it's not natural, but the TRYING is the important thing. If they divorce later, they can look their kids in the eyes and tell them that they did try, and they faced down the public and worked on it.

I think that it's unkind to judge this as a PR thing; maybe they are just two people trying their best.

A marriage is a union where you pledge vows literally, for better or for worse. I think too many people bail on marriages without trying to work on their problems. If there truly is a basis of love, it's worth fighting for. To err is human, to forgive is divine. If a couple can truly get past a problem like this, who are we to judge? If it's all for the cameras, who are they even fooling? If they think there's a chance for happiness in a world so devoid of it, I say let them be. Just my two cents. Happy Birthday David.

You also pledge to be faithful. I could not forgive such a betrayal on such a massive level. And not just one little betrayal... huge, massive, repeated betrayals at that. I feel extremely sorry for the kids (in any situation such as this). Just in general.

You make a very good point. I can't even imagine how I would deal with a situation like that, and I hope I never have to. I feel bad for the kids too. Think about how much respect he has lost from his fans, it's his family that he should be worried about. And he seems to be trying. I hope it's not all PR, but we, the fans, may never know the whole truth. Smile

Yeah, we will never know the truth. I can say this. My son's father cheated on me. While I was pregnant. He is 8 years old now....and while there are times I THINK it hurts him, he is a well adjusted little boy, who is reslillient. I give JB a lot of credit...b/c having been cheated on....nope. It is not fun. At all.

I'm so sorry that happened to you. I'm glad you were willing to share, it can't be easy to deal with.

There has been many times I have written what amounts to a disertation on here. LOL!! I always delete it. All those times it was about what he did to me. This isn't about me. I have moved on. And honestly, I am so glad I did. I couldn't be JB. No way.
