How many seasons more of Bones would you like / do you think there will be

Was thinking this after the finale (which I really liked).

What do you think the natural shelf life of Bones is? Do we all want it to end on them finally getting together?

Or do we want to see them together and the progression of their life together?

Ratings are pretty good (but of course that can change). My thought was two to three more seasons might well be the natural life of the show??

Although these massive changes might extend it.

Thoughts?

do I want the series to end with them getting togther? Hell to the NO! I want a good chunk of relationship time before the end of the series.

I am hoping for 8 seasons and maybe a movie. I better get some B&B relationship at least for a full season or two, not just at the end in the last episode.

well, I would like to see the sixth season with B&B heading for a realationship,and getting one in the finale. The seventh season can be about there new relationship and the cases or something. Truly I want it to last a way longer, but not Law and Order long (22 seasons).

To be honest I would rather one or two more season where B&B head into a relationship together and are in a relationship together instead of more seasons of the writers coming up with "new" ways of keeping them apart.

If B&B don't get together next season I can see my interest in the show dissipating quickly... we've had five seasons of that, time for something different.

At least to season 7, but as long as we see them in a relationship for at least a full season, beacause as I watched some other shows where they get together the last seconds and I don't think I could handle that with BB

Yeah 7 sounds good, if they did more I'd probably still watch though. But who decides when it ends? Fox could end it if viewers plummet, but Hart could end it when he wants right? Isn't that what the Lost creators did?

I'd rather it go out on a high, on Hart's terms when he's told his story. I'd hate it to get canceled cos they tried to stretch it out over 8 seasons and it ain't what it used to be.

I really would like to see as many seasons as possible. I love the talent on this show.

I want 7 or 8 sesons. But we definitely need a huge chunk of BB relationship before we end, none of that "let's get them together in the last 2 seconds of the last episode" stuff.

Out with a BLAST on HH's terms and not because Fox decides.

I cannot see the show ending with Season 6, so I am thinking atleast 7 if not more!

Agreed! I don't want it to go longer than 7 seasons though... that would be a little too much to me.

I think that Bones has been confirmed for the 2012-2013 season, so that brings us up to 8 seasons...
