Random Bones thoughts

Post by SJB on Wed May 26, 2010 6:14 pm

Just some random thoughts that cross my mind when I watch bones

- Why does Booth never button his sleeves on his shirts?

- Why does Booth never wear a seat belt, when Brennan always does?

- Wear does Brennan get all her funky necklaces from?

Feel free to add yours! Very Happy

Hahaha! This show would be great if he just sat on a rocking chair and read the news. Shirtless, of course.

Hart Hanson had said that he couldn't get David to wear his seat belt in the shots of them in the SUV, but that he wears it in real life.

I always wondered about the cuffs on the shirt, probably some expensive brand.

I also wondered what he really wore when they filmed the episode where he stood up in the bathtub. Just like the episode of Angel - I will remember, where he's standing next to the fridge neeeeeked - that's how we say it in the south. You can see some booty there, actually I think it's tan line.

You know what I've always wondered...why did Rebecca fight him so hard over Parker? It was just weird...here's a guy who wanted to be a Dad and is a good dad...and she denies him simple parental rights because SHE didn't want to get married?

Anyways...back to neeeeeked Booth...LOL!

You know what else I wonder...how did Booth not know about the funky socks after his brain tumor? I mean, when a person opens a drawer completely full of funky socks, wouldn't you think he would have wondered about why he had so many striped socks?

Hmmmm.... random thought....

How did Zach ever get recruited by the whole "master" dude in the first place? It's not like he is ever anywhere other than work or his apt. at Hodgins' ... and he doesn't even DRIVE so he doesn't have a "happenin' social life" LOL And he "jumped on board" with murder and cannibalism because of "secret societies" threatening the world... [Only admins are allowed to see this image][Only admins are allowed to see this link] alt="" /> even for Zach I "call no way!" I think Zach wouldn't have cared less about it! :-)

Zach said he was approached at some convention. They explained everything to Zach using logic and he agreed with their logic.

I always wondered how Zack was recruited since he wasn't a "widow's son." Isn't that his father in Man/Fallout Shelter?

Yeah... I remember the whole convention and logic argument... but I still call "no way" on the whole Zach as a "serial killer apprentice recruited for future canabalistic murders" all due to the logic argument. For me, the fact is that they portrayed Zach in such a way for 3 years that his character simply wouldn't have invested in such a belief system or an act out of the whole "secret society" argument. (Because the secret society argument was fundamental to "the masters logic"...) Zach could've cared less if it wasn't A- at the Jeffersonian or B- connected to Dr. Brennan.

I think this whole plot was (obviously) a desire to have a "big shock"... and perhaps the writers strike made them have to rush it and not give it the proper time to "season" and develop... I think they tried to give it legitimacy with the whole Caroline explanation of "a strong personality takes over a weaker one"... and that was good... but still not really Zach who was never portrayed as having social skills or even social tendancies where he COVETED those social relationships overtly. What did the master offer him that he could possibly have wanted? He only cared about his work and he absolutely worshiped Dr. Brennan.

In the end it doesn't matter, because I love the show and this is one of the times I simply choose not to focus on the things that don't "jive" LOL The story did bring about one of the most touching scenes EVER on Bones though... Brennan and Zach "forehead to forehead" at the hospital.

And yeah, Zach was definitely not a widow's son either. :-) He had a huge and loving family in Michigan. Ah well!
