When does season 6 start for sure? Anyone know? I know Fringe starts in Sept. so I'm thinking it's in Sept. also, but I'm wanting to double check...

I don't think dates have been released. I'd say like most of the season it'd be mid to late September.

yep most of the other seasons debuted mid to late sept, so I'd hazard a guess to say that's when Bones'll be back. The actual date has not been decided yet, and usually isn't announced until August I think.

It needs to hurry up and get here!
Last year, the start date was September 17th, I think. (Is it pathetic that I remember that? )
I'm going to guess the 16th or 23rd for this year then.

Wonder when FOX makes their decisions if Bones will get renewed for S7? Wait till first part of season for ratings? Is that decided upon sometime in January 2011 when they start talking about mid season replacements?

yeahhh this is what im more anxious to find out.... all though i am exicited to know we our beloved Bones will be back, but we know its Septemeber.. but we really have no idea if it will be picked up or not.

FOX could wait until the upfronts next May to announce it if they want. I am hoping that they let everyone know early; if it is the last season I would like HH & Co to have ample time to wrap everything up.

CBS did that with NCIS this year.....but they are the most successful scripted show at the moment so there was not much doubt

Oh wow. Yeah, I'd really like for them to know at least by midseason whether or not they'll be renewed. At the same time though, this is HH. If he knows, I'm afraid he'll try and either prolong the inevitable yet again OR...pull a Gilmore Girls and rush things at the last. It's really a double-edged sword.

Still. I can't wait for s6 and I'd like to think the majority of Bones fans feel the same way.

If Fox doesn't pick Bones up for S7, I just hope they tell HH early so he has time to plan things out and have the story end in a realistic and creative way. I actually wouldn't mind if S6 was the last season. I just want the show to end with a strong final season, high ratings, and a happy B&B ending instead of watching the show drag on for 5 more years and get canceled.
