Name: Park Ridge, IL

Population : About 37,000

Location right on northwest edge of Chicago 1/2 hour from downtown Chicago.

Type of community middle to upper middle class. suburban. Mostly houses some apartments some condos.

Schools: 2 high schools, 2 junior highs 4 elementary. One high school is two time football champions.

Close knit community a lot of events and heavily participated in programs.

Most famous for: Home of the Pickwick Theatre. If you were to visit I'd definitely say we should take in a movie there just to see the inside although I know the owners and might arrange a tour.

Most famous resident or former resident: Hometown of Hillary Rodham Clinton who grew up a block west and a block north of my house. My mom knew her parents and she babysat my brother a few times.

How long have you lived there: Pretty much my whole life since I was 3. My husband and I bought my mother's house. 2 of my 3 apartments were in Park Ridge.
