For 50 Points... and the Win...

Post by Nightowl on Tue Jul 27, 2010 7:14 am

This is a fun game the wife and I play on roadtrips...
You ask a trivia question... it can be anything, any category, any subject, any millenium, and the other person has to answer it and claim the points, and then in turn, ask a question and declare how many points it is worth. You lose points for any wrong answer, so double check if you want.
Feel free to use google I suppose, it's the points that matter. Very Happy
I'll start it off...
For 50 points:
Who is the lead singer for the Rolling Stones?

oooh good idea. useless trivia knowledge is my thing...

Do we have to wait for a confirmation of an answer, or do we just mosey along?

Either way, who is Mick Jagger?

And I'll ask another question anyway, just in case...

For 51 points: For how many years did the Hundred Years War last?

I'll play!

116 (1337 – 1453). 'Course, it wasn't continuous warfare.

Another historical question...it's my era! (they don't call me the Queen for nothing)

for 60 points (or 10 each), name all of Henry VIII's wives...
Double points for getting them in order!

I can play without Google if we stick with Hollywood.

The actor: Clark Gable
The movie: Gone With the Wind, 1939
The character: Rhett Butler
The scene: final scene of the movie, spoken to Scarlett as he leaves, disappearing into the fog.

Yay! Laughing

I'll stick with 120 pts. if you can name the actress he married in 1939, the love of his life!
