The following comes from Genevieve again, from LJ. You rock Genevieve! She has done a great job by reporting on Paley, and now she has put her thoughts together in connection with the eppie showed there.

ONLY READ THE REST IF YOU ARE REALLY SURE YOU WANT TO BE SPOILT BEFORE WATCHING THE EPPIE IN 2-3 WEEKS' TIME!! CONSIDER YOURSELVES WARNED!!!!

First, let me start by quoting Genevieve's last words of her review: "..the cutest episode ever."

And now here are the details:

Before the episode, Hart went to introduce it. It was supposed to be a quick intro, but he rambled a bit and went on tangents, so it went on forever. It was hilarious. He was trying to get to a story about the episode that had to do with Emily (though he said up front it wasn't actually true). The story was that in a scene Brennan had to feed the baby strained beef, and to make the baby eat it she tastes it herself, thus forcing Emily, who is a Vegan, to eat meat. Lmao. He went round and round and finally got to that not even true joke. Love him. They talked about the 5 babies they used in the episode a little. A set of triples and a set of twins. The way they told the triplets apart was by painting their toes different colors. Eric and Emily brought up how wiggly they were. Eric was all, "Get the baby some benadryl or something?" Hart affirmed that Eric was not suggesting you drug babies. Lol.

At the end of his introduction, Hart was shielding his eyes with his hand and David started copying him. It went on a while before Hart even noticed.

So on to the episode. It started with Booth and Brennan in the car talking about money. She's asking about the Cayman Islands 'cause her accountant wants her to set up a tax shelter for a 7-figure amount she has. Booth is wowed. She asked him what he does with his money. Booth: "Spend it. On food and rent."

They arrive at the scene, but that's when I went outside to meet people and missed 10 minutes. I came back in during a scene where they are talking about the body found and have just confirmed that it was the baby's mother. Poor baby. They head to the small town where she lived. It's mostly shut down.

Booth is trying to talk Brennan into building a house on a river, go out and fish, buy a huge TV.

Brennan remarks that the baby looks so peaceful and has no idea that he's all alone. Booth says that maybe there's a dad, but Brennan says no one filed a missing persons report or seems to be worried about him. Booth to Brennan: "Well, you are."

They come across some people from the town and talk to them. The man looks at the baby with them and is all, "Training them young, I see." Lol. The wife comes out and recognizes the baby and they head over to a friend's house to find out more about his mother. The Grants were friends with Andy's parents and helped take care of him. They do what they can to survive in the town.

Booth and Brennan head out with the baby (Andy) to check out where he lived. When they get to the trailer, the front door is open. Brennan is all ready to jump out, but Booth tells her to stay in the car. She protests and he's all, "Bones, there is a baby involved. You hear gunfire, anything like that, drive away." Brennan says she won't leave him and he tells her yes, she will. This is about the baby, not him. He makes her promise. Aww[Only admins are allowed to see this link]

Inside the trailer is Andy's deadbeat dad. When Booth grabs him and brings him out, he doesn't even want to see the baby.

While Booth is inside dealing with the guy, Brennan is in the car talking to Andy. She tells him that they'll find out what happened to his mom 'cause Booth is a very good investigator and she's at the top of her field. Exactly like that, no baby talk for her, lol. He fusses a little and she says, "How about some visual and auditory stimulation?" And thus, we get the dancing phalanges scene. ADORABLE.

There was a scene with Cam and Angela talking about the case. And then Cam asks Angela how many kids she wants, 'cause earlier she must've said something about it. Angela says she has a thing for chaos and she'll stop when they have to airlift supplies to her. Cam doesn't want kids. The screaming, messiness, she's not going to "give up this body for that."

Booth and Brennan check out the trailer and find the medicine that Andy was given. Then Brennan is back in the car and Zack calls. He has some information. He asks if it's a good time, just as Andy goes to grab Brennan's necklace. She's telling him no, but Zack thinks she's talking to him and hangs up. So Brennan calls him back and again, Andy grabs the necklace and Zack thinks she's talking to him. Brennan ends up giving Andy the charm on her necklace (uh oh!) and finishes talking to Zack. Booth teases her when he sees the baby. "First the key, now jewelry? What's next, you going to let him play with a bowling ball?"

Brennan makes Booth uncomfortable when she starts talking about breastfeeding. Heh.

They check out where Andy's mom worked and do other case related things.

In the car, Andy starts making a face and they finally get the key that he'd swallowed earlier. Booth tells Brennan that she has to change the diaper next time. Watching Booth and Brennan with the baby just makes you melt. It's so cute. They tell Angela the numbers on the key so she can find where it goes to. Now that they have the key, Booth says they can take Andy to Family Services. Brennan refuses to leave him anywhere until she's satisfied that he's somewhere safe and will get the care he deserves.

They go to the bank for the safety deposit box that the key goes to, and find a gun. Booth talks to Andy in baby talk voice about the case. They head to a pool so Brennan can do some fancy science with chemicals and get the serial number that was filed off.

There's some interview a guy Andy's mom worked with.

Hodgins and Zack work on the gun, find out it was used to shoot someone at close range.

Brennan has Andy in her office. Booth comes in and they talk about what Brennan is up to, trying to get some help to the town. They still don't know what Andy's condition is. Cam comes in with info about the case, interrupting the cute banter they've got going about baby talk.

Angela asks Hodgins if he wants kids. He says he only wanted 1 or 2, but if she wants a million, they'll have a million. He doesn't care if she's mushy and shapeless. This gives Angela pause, lmao. "You get wider; there'll be more of you to love." And why wait until they get married! Ha. He grins to himself when he turns away to check the computer. Sneaky.

More case related stuff. They find out someone was ground up at the tire factory. They chase a dude down. They solve the case. Go team!

Back at the lab, Brennan and Booth find out that Andy has a genetic condition, but will be fine. Booth: "Looks like our little guy's gonna be just fine." *they pause to stare at each other* "The little guy."

They find a letter from Andy's mom saying she wants the Grants to take care of him if anything happens. Brennan hands him over to them and I swear it looked like she might almost cry. Made me want to cry.

On to the final scene. They're sitting in the back of the SUV, out in the woods somewhere (random?). Booth says he'll miss Andy, and Brennan agrees that she developed a certain affection for him. Booth asks if she's changed her mind about kids. She protests, and he says she has time. But not that much time, lol. She smacks him and spills his coffee on some papers. They're some information about building a bridge to the town (that washed out and caused the town to die). Brennan is going to use her money to build a bridge, help the town recover. Booth says it's good. And with next year's book, she should get that second home in the town she saved. Plasma's get cheaper each year. Andy will want to see his Aunty Bones. They can all go fishing, go back home, plop themselves in front of that huge TV. Football! She can make a 7-layer dip. Talk to Andy. He starts baby talking to her and she shoves a leftover pacifier into his mouth.

How did you like it? Are you looking forward to the eppie? I have to admit I haven't read them, I'll try to resist reading the review, but I don't know how long it will last. Hehehe.
