Here is more info from our favourite (can disagree if you want to) gossip man, Ausiello on the episode, Man in the Outhouse.

Question: Any and all Bones scoop, please? — Catherine
Ausiello: Brennan will be juggling two gentlemen suitors in an upcoming episode — one who may or may not be married and one who may or may not be gay.

I think it's very telling. So Brennan will definitely finish the business with them by the time the episode have finished. At least it is some good news. Surely she is not stupid to hang out with married and gay men!! I have faith in her.
