The TV Addict.com says that to keep up with The Big Bang Theory, Bones is going to have to bring more to the table than a Jersey Shore episode. Maybe good news for shippers?
And yet three days later, they post an article saying Bones will likely win the timeslot.

Anyway, I'm not too worried. At worst, Bones will rank second place after BBT which is no worse than what they ranked against Survivor last season. And there's no way the stuff NBC, ABC, and certainly not the CW have in that time slot can beat them.
Ya I thought the same thing, lol. They just posted an article saying Bones would top the time slot. Bones has the advantage of not being moved recently so they won't loose their casual viewers. However, BBT will.
I don't expect a significant drop in viewers. I think it will only drop between 1-3 million if any. And thats 1-3 out of 12 million viewers. Hart has said a show can survive on a network with just 6 million. So ya not worried.
I actually don't mind the storyline coming into season 6
Re: Bones May Need To Bring More To The Table
Just to interject some reality here, Hart might have said the show could survive on the network with just 6 million viewers but the network might have a different take on things 'cause lest we forget kiddos, this is TV - Ratings = Money.Lo wrote:I don't expect a significant drop in viewers. I guarantee you that if Bones has a sustained loss of 1 million viewers Hart will have FOX executives in his office asking him what's going on and should they be worried. A sustained loss, even short term, of 2 million and he'll probably have to go to their offices to convince them nothing's wrong and stay the course. 3 million viewers? Even if it's just for a single episode FOX will want to know what went wrong, if it's for two or three he'll be down at their offices after ratings come out for every show, and if it drags on past that they'll be at HIS offices making helpful suggestions as to how things might be 'fixed' - of course that might actually get us B&B together so, hey, I'm not worried about it either.
Re: Bones May Need To Bring More To The Table
Eh I would rather them cancel the show than have them make HH come up with a quick way to get B/B together, because rushed will probably be crappy. I'd rather wait and have it done well with Harts timeline as much as people disagree with that right now.
Re: Bones May Need To Bring More To The Table
I have to say, sounds like most of you have jumped the ship so to speak. I am looking forward to this season, bring it on. While I utlimately want to see Bones, Booth together.....looking foward to seeing how Bones will react to Booth's new girlfriend. We all know she won't last long. I think the upcoming episode look interesting. A lot of fans are fixated on Booth, Bones getting together, how that will happen and if it doesn't happen a certain way, then they are gone. Hart and the writers always have a suprise up their sleeve and it will be interesting to see how this plays out. Can't wait for 9/23. I am and will forever be a die hard Bones fan.
