Bones - no problems with the eco warrior look...I'm sure it won't last...but hey...she' just threw on whatever and hopped on a plane...lol. If Booth was there waiting for you...would you take time to primp and miss your plane??? just sayin'

Booth UYumm as usual - I've found that as far as military hair... during boot camp..super short...during deployment...anything goes...not a lot of time for haircuts when you're out in the jungle or sand dunes....

Sweets? Yikes...breakups are hard on young idealistic men...and on top of that his book was crap! Who can blame a guy for making some changes?

I have no problem with Brennan's warrior look but I was looking at these pictures again and I hadn't noticed before but her shirt is dirty! Like really dirty. Especially around the collar. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say they'll explain this. Dust storm while changing planes somewhere? Lol.

At least his hair isn't oiled down - that I am guessing would be a BIG faux pax in the Army. That was one bad hair day for Booth. His hair is short enough to pass for Army going on TV. I believe you are mistaken. Booth is wearing the current ACU (Army Combat Uniform, I think) that replaced the old BDU (Battle Dress Uniform). The Army finally entered the 20th Century with it, maybe the 21st will show up soon.

If you look closely at the uniform, everything on both sleeves, the rank on the front center, his name and the words US ARMY, and his awards are all held on by velcro. That is why you see the rectangles of solid green on the camo cloth and is correct for these uniforms. Those are the velcro areas for attaching everything.

If you look closely enough or long enough, you will probably find that something is wrong somewhere. I remember reading once the HH said they purposefully make a mistake in the uniform make up so as not to insult those who wear it for real.

The question I would have, looking at this uniform is where is his Ranger unit affiliation. On the uniform, he has two unit patches. If I remember correctly, the one on the left sleeve is the unit he is currently assigned to, in this case Special Forces. That makes sense if he was training other snipers. The patch on the right sleeve should be the unit with which he had his tour of combat duty. In this case it is 101st Airmobile. He doesn't seem to have any patch for 75th Ranger Regiment. He does have a 'Ranger' tab, but that can be earned without ever serving in the Ranger Regiment.

So, how did 101st get in the middle of this?

I like her hair better in this shot. (don't faint in shock - no deconstruction and analysis on this from me. )

all I am going to say about that picture^ is DAMN Booth looks FINE. Seriously. How can Brennan not just jump that right then and there? I can honestly say I can't blame Hannah for going after him.

Yep...if you find a man like that on the free market, you need to snag him up as quick as you can. Brennan obviously still needs that therapist her publisher Ellen wanted to get her back in Season 2 in Bodies in the Book. LOL!

This season Brennan's meant to be where Booth was last season (pining) in the whole big HH "Let's go round again" groovy dance...Last seasons opener Brennan said Booth was dressed like a "furniture remover"...this season the same could be said about Brennan! a voila! The other thing I noticed about Brennan's clothes...Uh-it's the same exact thing she was wearing in the airport when she left. Please tell me she didn't wear the same clothes for 7 months straight... EW. I mean I like the outfit and all, but would just prefer it to be...I don't know...clean???
