Ok, this has almost the entire scene on the steps ... well it cuts off right before Booth answers that infamous question.

Also, TJ and Michaela introduce the clip. I posted in the other cast thread ... they had Bones stars introducing all these clips for the various Fox shows. I put this one here though since it's very spoilery. The others you can watch without being spoiled, if you stop after the Bones people talk.

I can't believe the whole 1st episode has pretty much been spoiled LOL. I was holding my breath watching this one, and yelled at my computer when it cut off. Yeah, I'm gonna need medication to get through this season.

I think I can see the dynamic shift even in this clip ... Brennan is flirting but Booth isn't playing along.

Yea, but he didn't lean toward her when he "awwwww'd." And he didn't overreact when she said she'd been attacked, although that might've been more because he obviously knew she was ok at that moment. I might be reading too much into this but it really fits with the Brennan will be chasing Booth stuff we've been hearing.

great clip....I won't share my opinions about it, because I'll get my head bit off since I'm a Booth supporter...so all I will say is that I am quite looking forward to seeing this episode....

I am a Booth supporter as well. I liked the clip, it's cute he bought pictures for her. And I don't think Booth wasn't acting like he had interest (romantically) because he did ask if she had met anyone. I feel if he did more it'd be that leading her on territory since he is involved with someone else.

Cruel, that was cruel.

The countdown has begun. I've managed to survive the summer but I'm starting to feel the withdrawal now. Can't wait for the new season to begin.

What I don't get in this preview is why Booth brings up the "did you meet anyone special" question if he's actually serious about you-know-who? It just seems a bit cruel. If it was just a fling-sort-of-thing and he thought they wouldn't see each other again after he left Afghanistan, then I understand the question better. Well, it'll be interesting to hear what he answers Brennan.

And I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought it looked like Brennan was flirting with Booth but that he wasn't responding the way he used to, but then again maybe it's the first time seeing each other after X number of months and he's a bit shy.

Oh and I love this part:
Booth: You beat up armed guerillas?!?
Brennan: I had to! You weren't there to save me.

Btw, was it just my imagination/wishful thinking or did it looked like Brennan was thinking like "please say no!" when she asked Booth "How about you?"

Ho how we read so much into 1minute 22 seconds and probably 30 of that was mikayla and TJ. I am goingto try to love watching Booth resist a little Brennan, I'm a big Brennan fan but I think it's part of her growth that she has to fight for it a bit and really know that whole you don't know what ya got till it's gone addage. And as for Booth... You know he's going to end up back to where he was totally head over heels for Brennan you can't deny "the one" "the standard"
Any who I think 7 months have let him forget how incredible Bren is I can so totally see her kicking armed gorilla Ass even if he seemed a bit oh yeah sure you did about it.

I'm starting to get a little confused over the whole Booth/Hannah thing....things are already starting to appear to me ateast that things really may not be what they seem here.
Booth hooks up with Hannah, they have a fling, he leaves to go back to DC expecting never to see her again.
B&B have the discussion on the steps she asks him if he met anyone. I'm really curious to see how this conversation goes down. It's safe to assume he tells Brennan about Hannah because she asks if it's serious and he has the cell phone pictures that he's oh so happy to show off.
THIS is where it gets confusing for me. He left Hannah, not expecting to see her again, so wouldn't you think that he broke it off with her? And if he broke it off with her, why would he be throwing her picture in everyone's face?
Then going back to the interview with SN where he said Booth absolutely did not expect Hannah to show up in DC, at the time it sounded like that was meant to be a negative thing. The fact that she followed him was not welcome or something.
Going by the sides,Booth is all happy to see her, and moves her in, but the promo with the diner scene where she shows up and trys to suck his face off- the way he is sitting there with Brennan and when he sees her he kinda gets that "oh shit" look on his face- IDK 2 different vibes going on there IMO.
Maybe I'm over thinking it or reading too much into it. But is it REALLY going to take him at least 7-10 episodes (by my calculations,nothing confirmed yet) to figure out that he's really not over Brennan? Or is Hannah going to turn out to be some crazy psycho stalker chick?

Although I have noticed that this place has got a little cranky, snarky the last few months.

Kinda jumping on each others pov, negative on positive and postive on negative. *Not much room for a middle ground* I get that some fans are ticked at Hart and Co. but lets play nice with each other, is my wish.



Now baring in mind it is a uber short clip, I thought the clipped played well, Booth and Brennan are in a different place emotionally. We have to remember that they are friends here, that was the decision. So Booth has Hannah now so he can't be all flirty flirty with Brennan but there is still a warmth of affection with her, between them. And Brennan being a little more aware of Booth and what that could mean, but how aware is another question for another day. Or you know when I get to watch the episode..

IDK 2 different vibes going on there IMO.

I think that's the point that they are trying to get across....Booth is going to struggle having both women in his life at the same time.

And when Brennan is attempting to flirt, of course Booth would ignore that...she was the one was said she only wanted to work with him...

@MI_Bonesgirl yep, it is confusing. I look at it this way. We have spoiler over load.

We have so much spin, soundbites, writeups, interviews, info from the sides - that it is very hard to know what is fact or fiction, or what is just spin. So it is hard to put the pieces together correctly and quite honestly it is imposibble to make sense of.

Like one soundbite said that Booth was showing off his pic to everyone BUT that was contradicted by another reviewer on Twitter, who has saw the S6 premier and clarified Booth didn't do that and shows his photo of Hannah to only 2 people and only does so cos they asked him to. Who knows what is going on!

Now, if I had to guess, Booth is shocked that Hannah turned up D.C. cos a) she didn't tell him she was coming, b) that she give up her job and got a new one without telling him - which is quite a big thing to do and not inform the other of. Not necessarily that they aren't a couple, maybe they planned for her to come to D.C after her time was up.

But then again, my prediction skills are hit and miss - just like spoilers and speculation. Man, how much easier would it be if there were never such a thing as spoilers to tempt us with and go over!

Don't do that, share your opinions they're just as valuable as everyone else's.

I said I think I feel a shift in their dynamic here, but I didn't say it was a bad thing. I think it'll be weird for me to watch but I think it's going to lead somewhere good and if they do it correctly, I think I'll be able to enjoy this storyline. And also, this is a 60 second (if that) clip, so really not even enough to speculate about, but we still have 3 weeks left and I'm bored.
