inside I couldn't even guess, really

outside we have 2 goldfish, 2 other fish and 7 big koi (3 really, really big, 2 really big and 2 big actually) and the baby koi of course.....I'd say about 25 bigger ones, 30 smaller ones and some tiny ones.....
not all of those will survive the winter though

So, E had her 6 month appointment this morning. 6 months! I know right. Time flies when you're having fun. Anyway, the doc said she is doing just great, everything is normal, and not to worry about the things I've been worried about. He said it would be okay to start her on solid foods. YAY! With her reflux problems, we had been hesitant to go ahead with this.
They said that lunch would be a good time to try, because if anything goes wrong we have time to resolve it before we end up with a sleepless night. Okay, so, I mixed up some rice meal with a little bit of banana and made the first move.
She LOVED it! She ate everything I had in the bowl, and for the next hour everytime one of us looked at her, she would open her mouth for more. It turned into a game, and we were all laughing so hard. Even O was laughing, and he started playing peek-a-boo with her, and when she would open her mouth he would bust out laughing. And then she would laugh!!
It was just such an awesome time! It might not seem like much, or that funny to anyone else, but my stomach and face hurt from laughing.

It's not that bad
the filter keeps the water clean and you just fish some thicker parts of algae out of the water from time to time
and of course feeding
but that's it
they stay in the pond all year round

They love peek-a-boo! O has never really paid that much attention to E, but now that's she's getting bigger he's starting to interact with her a bit. The alliance begins! hahaha

I suppose! She just sits and watches him go too! Maybe he will be inspiration to her to get moving! lol
