S6E06 "The Shallow in the Deep"

I'll summarize. Lol.


No Hannah.

A case leads them to a "cougar cruise" -- older women chasing after young men. They (Booth/Brennan/Sweets) end up going on one of these cruises so they can interview a suspect. A lot of the women are very fond of Sweets ... Brennan finds herself a boy toy of sorts to flirt with ... Booth isn't fond of it, and by that I mean he literally says "This is not okay with me." Lol. Protective, slightly jealous Booth ... I'm feelin' it.

Daisy is the intern.

Angela is still pregnant.

I'm with Treble, read these for yourselves, nothing to be afraid of here.

Thoughts while reading the sides take 6:

- B/B banter about his age... I like that there's banter.
-Brennan checks out a guy... in front of Booth... haven't we been here many many times before?
-Wow, Booth is very adament he is not alright with Brennan flirting with that guy... wonder what happened in the episodes before this... It's almost like how a boyfriend would react, he actually says " This is not ok with me."
-LMAO at sweets getting mauled by the ladies, did everyone get an extra dose of hormones before this scene?
-OMG it's a cougar cruise?? that so make sense why Booth said that Brennan was too old and too young for the boy toy.
-Hodgins I love you.
-Case is interesting, it's about a boy (he's 19) who gets murdered on a "cougar cruise"

I'm looking forward to this episode, and for those who are curious there is absolutely no mention of Hannah.

That stood out for me too. I hate to get overly optimistic ... but beyond that line he is also very senisitve about his masculanity being challenged. And it says he "stands straighter" when the one lady flirts with him. Sounds like someone who's been recently rejected.

Perhaps, Hannah exits in episode 5? Would make sense they would be careful not to put anything about that in the sides.

Maybe that's wishful thinking.

I don't mean to get off topic, but when will the "solve your own murder" episode be? Didn't Hart tweeted that it would either be 6 or 7?

Alright, I read 'em, and unless I really missed something, still not the "Bones solves her own murder" episode.

Had to laugh at Sweets being the cougar bait-probably the first time Booth has ever been looked over in favor of Sweets.

And, yeah, acting like a bit of a jealous boyfriend.

He did. But also remember, episode are sometimes produced in a different order than they air. And I'm assuming he means it'll be either the 6th or 7th episode written and produced ... but it could mean the 6th or 7th aired ... which due to scheduling with directors/etc. could actually be the 8th or 9th episode produced.

And don't forget that last year the GD episode was suppose to be really early in the season and it ended up being the next to last episode. They seem to come up with big ideas and stew on them for a long time. Lol.

To be fair to Booth, he is mostly commenting on the whole age difference thing. He also is uncomfortable with the women that are flirting with Sweets.

These are just sides, I think we gotta be careful jumping to strong conculsions with only a fraction of the story.

Looks like we have a jealous Booth and Brennan is flaunting it for a boy toy. LOL!! The sides are good. Nothing scary in them...unless you count a bitchy Cam and a pissy Daisy...oh, and a DRUNK sweets! LOL!!

Maybe, but the way HH, SN and ED talked about it, it seemed like Brennan would comes to terms with her feelings and have "her change of heart" about Booth, while he still with Hannah...because they always talk about how she has to accept that she loves him even he's with someone else.

Yeah true... but what fun are spoilers without some speculation??

IMO, Booth has zero claim or right to give an opinion on who Brennan flirts with, seeing as he is the one making out with his GF right in front of her Who does he think he is? He doesn't own her, that much he has made clear by moving on with someone else.

But then obviously it does depend on how the scene plays out on screen. Still, I don't think Booth has any right to comment when he is in a relationship. Unless of course he and Barbie have broken up, which IMO I think is doubtful by ep five.

Like you guys I remain hopeful but not too overly optimistic. I mean, Hannah *might* be gone at this point (because wasn't there some reference in the sides an episode or two ago about how she wasn't there/she had her story to work on?). Something. Anyway, it's perfectly normal even if he WAS dating someone else for him to be protective of Brennan because well, she's his Bones. Nothing can change that. But for him to actually voice those thoughts? Yeah. You can't do that unless you know, he's actually free to do so.
