David's Tattoos

Apologies if this has been discussed before, but does anyone know what the symbol tattoos on David's wrists are and what they mean?

I've been wondering for a while!

They are Japanese Kanji. One means soul and the other destiny.

I believe he and his wife have same tattoos, just opposite wrists.

In the interview "David & Jamie 2001 LA Pool Party", David says that the tattoos means Soul and Faith.

I think the video is no longer on You Tube. Have it still on my computer.
