As a life long Jerseyite I have a few comments. First, couldn't they have shot the beach scenes so what is obviously Santa Monica Pier wasn't in the background? At least they said "shore" not beach (beach is just the actual sandy place at the water's edge).
From the number of times B&B drove back and forth I'm assuming they were in South Jersey, probably around Wildwood. But that's still at least a 2 hour drive from DC. And bringing Richie's mother and the "stalker" into FBI DC HQ didn't make sense because fo the distance; they should have been interviewed on site or at a closer field ofice (Phily or Dover if there isn't one in Atlantic City). Someone needs to look at a map when they write shows with the cases "within driving distance" of the lab. (I had the same issue with them going back & forth to WVA and other places in the Mid-Atlantic).
On the mac & cheese issue, I just assumed Booth liked Brennan's so much he asked her to show him how to make it (something he could cook for Parker).

yeah, I noticed that because I'm an original Jersey girl too. When they arrest the ice guy Booth says, "He was just looking for a good time UP at the Jersey Shore". Everyone in NJ say DOWN the shore. If he's from Pittsburg I think he'd know that. Just a silly thing me and my family laughed at.

You meant Philly right? Since Pittsburgh is FAR away from any shore...up, down or otherwise...Pittsburgh may be closer to the Lake Erie shore than the Jersey shore...HAHA..or at least equidistance...

haha...Yeah, it's much farther away but I figured it close enough to know the phrase. I really just meant he's from the East not a West Coast guy.

I actually enjoyed this episode as well. I thought it was funny and full of great one liners. I love Angela's comment about "Reality TV" not being considered a documentary.
Booth's character is still bothering me at this point. He's not really "Boothy" since he came back and I am uneasy about it. He seems hard and not himself (I'm wondering if they are setting the groundwork for PTSD or something else war related!??!? Also, he is far too adamant that he has moved on and is happy. To borrow a phrase from The Bard, "Methinks he doth protest too much,"
I will probably be in the minority, but I liked the conversation between Brennan and Hannah over moving in with Booth and the whole discussion about the phone. It showed how much Brennan really knows Booth and that she truly wants him to be happy. (I am worried that his "happiness" with Hannah is just going to reinforce in her mind what she said in the 100th episode)
I absolutely loved the "girls" scene when Booth walked in on all 4 of them and figured out that Angela was pregnant. Shades of the Dream Episode, when he told her that she would be a great mom. He had also said that to Brennan in Critic in the Cabernet when they were discussing his donation. Also, I think it was telling in the life Hannah leads. I noticed that she said it was the life she chooses--in the present tense--and not the life she chose. I'm hoping she gets bored with DC and that is how she is going to make her exit.
I felt that the very end had shades of the old Brennan and Booth spark when both Hannah and Brennan said, "You're Welcome." in response to his "Thank You" for the phone and then Brennan abruptly left. He was more like the old Booth in picking up that something was off with Brennan and following her to the door.
I'm hoping that the longer he is home the more he will realize that Bones is the one for him and Hannah will realize that she is not cut out for the domestic life. Only time will tell.
As always, just my opinions--nothing more
