Episode 307- The Boy in the Time Capsule-DISCUSSION

I liked Sweets in this one... he's just cutesy... smart cutesy...
And I liked the '80s recap, but a lot of it seemed kinda cheesy and forced.
If Booth's 35 then he would have been 15 in 1987. Does anyone know what age the other characters are?? Is Booth the oldest?

ok so I was reading back and yall were talking about how good the next episode is going to be. Guess what! I am going to be gone a whole week next week so I can't watch it until I get back. That depresses me more than the strike! I WANT BONES!!!!!!at least I am going to be riding rides at disneyworld.

Yeah but then you'll get TWO episodes in ONE week. That's gotta count for something, plus Mickey will distract you.

I loved this episode...and the end scene...
OMG they are this close to kissing for shits sake....OMG...
The minute Bren got her feelings hurt told me everything...she used to just ignore or get pissed..hurt feelings say so much...
my parents have always told me thats when they knew I was in love with Mr Fab when we were dating...when I started crying on the phone with him because he had hurt my feelings...i never could figure out why my dad always smiled at me when I told him why I was crying..then he told me years later and dah....I had not put 2 and 2 together...I was only 17 at the time....
So I'm loving this side of Bren.....and Booth going to such links to make it up to her....
Mr Fab did that too....sweet memories...

And when Bren asked "Dr. Hodgins" if boys ever grow up (something like that) and he said "Only on the outside.", she got this look on her face... she was thinking about Booth and how he had hurt her feelings...
So, I totally agree Fab... and the last scene... god they were so close to kissing then! Loved it!!

but I am going to give just my episode views here:
I liked this one - even though I guessed the killer in the third segment (and I don't usually).
It was interesting how everyone seemed to relate to "that guy" - even me, growing up where the whole jock/nerd social division was not heard of.
Still, as I was watching, I had to think of my first crush - which was in every respect "that guy" - all the attention he was getting didn't stop him from being mean and envious.. (I got to meet him again, decades later - meaner and more envious than ever if still good looking)
Of course, the way it was presented in this story, everyone seemed to be envious of "that guy" (including Angela and the cheerleader - who each should have been 'that girl")
As for Booth's need to hear some humiliating story from Booth, after the confession from Soldier in the Grave - seemed a bit of silly.
I also disliked that last line Bones had "I correct you so you can evolve" - thick with patronizing - that's the Bones I disliked in the beginning of the series.
I seem to be alone in this - I have a bad stomach reaction to the little therapist guy...It brings to mind the book descrïption of Dolores Umbrige who was toad-like but had a bow in her hair - there's something about ugliness with cutsey manners that rubs me the wrong way....I don't mind ugliness - especially in a guy, where it can be attractive if manly, but the dimples kinda offend...like lipstick on a pig.
