Since there was so much discord between Ana and I about last night's rerun, how many skeletons would you rate this episode?

Hmmm.... I agree with Ana that this one doesn't make my marathon list, but I have to remind myself that B&B had to start somewhere, you know? And the fact that they started out not caring for each other much (as readily demonstrated in this ep) just make the relationship they were able to develop that much more meaningful.
I thought this case was pretty interesting... seen better, seen worse...
So overall I gave it a 3.5 out of 5... and most of that may be out of nostalgia for Wong Foo's and Sid...

Hmm, I always quite liked this one anyway, but I gave it 4 skeletons, because when my sister sat down and watched Bones for the first time (entirely of her own accord), this was the one she happened to see, and it managed to convince her to watch more.

I'm not sure if this is the right criteria for judging, but any episode that is good enough to encourage a previously unbiased viewer to watch more has to be rated quite highly in my opinion.

I rate "The Boy in the Tree" with 4 skeletons. Although it is not among my favorite episodes I still prefer it to a few others.
The case is not captivating but still interesting. There were some funny moments (even if they were yucky) and some B/B fun.

Don't kill the reviewer .... but I think this is one of my least favorites because I really felt like Booth was mean to Brennan in this one... not just their usual bickering , but actually disrespecting mean... I dont know ... I'm not sure I can explain it that well but I really couldn't feel like he was trying to help her grow... just ripping her down.... Sorry!!!
Does that sound weird?
