Random Bones Sightings

So since I started watching the show, I've noticed Bones-related things alot! For example, I saw a Brennan moving truck once and then the next day I saw a Booth movers!

And this morning I get in the elevator in my building and who gets in after me? A guy that totally looks like Sweets! I'm not kidding! I wanted to asked if he was in the zone of truth!

Have you had any random Bones sightings?

Does noticing the actors in other shows count? Now I always notice... like TJ was on a rerun of 24 the other day - he got shot and everything! And Dr. Goodman (can't remember his real name) was on a Crossing Jordan rerun as a jury foreman. And Emily played a paramedic on Crossing Jordan. No Boreanaz sightings though... bummer!

it always happens to me...in school most of the time. Sometimes we are reading things and there is a word which totally makes me remember of bones. Or like the other day we were watching this movie called "no reservations" with catherine zeta-jones and the character made me remember sooo much to Brennan, she was exactly like her, in the kitchen world but...still she was so alike.
and now i don't remember anything else but i know i have tons of things. when i rememer i'll come here and post them.

Oh my goodness gracious, YES!!! Awesome thread idea!

Seriously, I didn't like to admit it before now but I definitely have random Bones sightings! I can't think of them all right now, but there are two big ones that stand out in my mind...

I went to school in England over the summer, and over one long weekend I went Paris with a friend. Anyway, we wind up at the Louvre and there is a wing of the Louvre called the SULLY!!!!! I nearly died! And then, naturally, I had to get my picture with the sign because I'm just sooo cool like that.
The second time I was in France I was in Dieppe with a history class and walking along this street there was a little cafe called the "Cafe Sully"! Ahhhh twice in one month! Anyway, so I'm thinking there's a huge French connection with that name. It totally made my day though - and made me homesick for Bones and the boneyard!

And the other big one that stands out in my mind has to do with an elective course I'm taking on political theory. Anyway, my prof's name is LISTER (like the agent in Brennan's books) and then one day in lecture Lister was talking about Augustine and Christian conceptions of virtue and he goes "Temperance is a virtue..." I swear I nearly died! I hadn't been focusing well at all that class but when he said that I nearly knocked my laptop over.. ahahaha

I think it's a good sign... this just means that we LOVE our beloved show!

I ran in to Sully references all the time. In my Latin class we talked about a Sulla.. which reminded me of a female Sully.. which made me snicker a lot..

And Cam is to be seen in Lost two times.. I thought she was the Mom of that kid.. ;-)

'Bones' was an answer to a Jeopardy question today. It was a category about TV shows with doctors in them. When Alex Trebek started talking about a forensic anthropologist I shouted out Bones before he got to say Dr. Temperance Brennan.

My best friend and I are in lovce with this show, and whenever we're at school we ahve random Bones sightings.

There is a cafe called Camille's and we are always like "EW!!"

We always watch "are you smarter than a fifth grader" because Booth is. =]

We were watching friends re-runs and we saw TJ!

We also saw Emily in Spiderman 2

And we sit next to each other in science, and whenever our teacher says something that was in bones, we ook at each other and giggle.

There arre a lot more that i can't remember. =]

I just noticed today - my daughter has a shirt that says SWEET and the number 85 (and a puppy). But didn't they say in the last ep that Sweets is 22 years old? If so, then he was born in 1985!

OK, embarrasing moment here.

I was at my grandparents for dinner and tried to say 'Both' and I said 'Booth'.

Also, me writing FFics about Bones is bad for my typing now. whenever I start to type a word like both it comes out as Booth. I have to check and double check my school stuff to make sure I don't have half a fan fic in the middle of a SS essay.

Also, whenever I see the word booth in a book, I crack up.

Tonight I had a Random Bones Sighting. It was at the pizza place I stopped at on the way home. I went in to order my pizza and wait for it to get ready. Low and behold I look up and the guy making the pizza looks just like Jack Hodgins. The whole time I sat there waiting I thought man that is Jack Hodgins and man do I have to post this on the aby board. When my pizza was done he said cheese extra cheese with no name (the order taker forgot to write my name down.) Well he asks if that is my order and brings it to me and says sorry for calling my no name. lol.

Just wanted to give the yard a shout out and wish you all Happy Thanksgiving.

I also can't wait until next weeks eppy. That kiss has been 3 years in the making. I have my VCR ready to record this historical moment and to preserve it until the season 3 DVD set comes out.

Wonder what is going to happen to the Baby in the Bough episode and will it have to be reworked like the PUP episode from season 2. I guess we may not find out.

The other day my Language arts class the teacher said Bones kinda randomly. It had to do with something, but no one knew until she explained it, but the guy next to me answered with "hey thats a tv show"

Aha!! I'll be a big poster on THIS thread.
I have a friend at school who is as obsessed as I am just not as vocal about it but we always hear the most random stuff in class...so I'll post what I remember...
*we think one of our teacher's looks like Rebecca and so we hate looking at her
*any time we talk about "skeltal structure" or "bones" we turn around and look at each other
*black SUVs make us giggle
*anything crime or FBI related makes us giggle
*we were talking about these shrimp at the bottom of the sea that release a bioluminescent fluid to confuse predators because they live where it's copmletely dark and we turn around and like yell accross the room "P-Phosphorium!" The teacher was like...what?

yeah...the list goes on and on so I'll post more when I think of them but one last thought...
My dad used Hodgins' "I'm ready to put you in front of me for the rest of my life" marriage proposal as an illustration in his sermon...haha my whole family's got it bad ((all my fault! ))
