Re: Tell Us Your Favorite Episode and Why
Yeah, I agree that moment in Con Man in Meth Lab when Booth kinda "lost it" for just a moment and let his anger show when he thought Bones was calling him a loser... and we all knew it was only cause he cares so damn much about her and what she thinks of him.... He was totally HOT with all that raw emotion showing! His character always is in those moments, but this was the only time he showed it straight directed to Brennan....
but it was also pretty cool when later (I think it's this same epi) when Bones asks if he's still mad at her and he says "of course not Bones)... he HATES losing control...

Man in the mourge? Booth so protective, Booth hiding her ear ring, Caroline at the police station. Booth and Brennen on why he's nice to her. "Jeuse is not a zombie"

It seems impossible to pick one single episode, but I think I have to say "The Woman in Limbo". Why? Important parts of Brennan's past is revealed, Brennan shows a lot of emotion, the actual forensics were interesting, we're introduced to Russ, and it's the episode that involves one of my favorite B/B quotes ever: "I know who you are".

Here's how I decided...if I only had time to watch ONE episode say..tomorrow...which one would I pick and I would say probably "Mayhem on a Cross" I can't explain why...just the whole revealing of Sweets' background, and talk of baby ducks, the scene where Booth shoots the speaker and then looks like a little boy being scolded by Dad, and the way he coached and cheered Brennan on during the interogations, and of course the final scene where I still even after seeing it a million times, I still swear he's going to be quicker and their hands will touch.

My favourite episode was the Wannabee in the Weeds. It was just so fun with Booth and Brennan, and she lightened up, and performed in front of all of them. I think it could have been such a turning point for the two of them, but then... Crazy Ol Pam shoots him and Brennan truly lets her feelings be seen, when he's lying there on the floor. The fallout was her digressing back to her "I don't care attitude" and since then she's been afraid to release emotion. I just thought it was amazing acting by both ED and DB. And to me, a pivotal episode in the show. A frustrating one, but still.

Re: Tell Us Your Favorite Episode and Why
In no particular order, my top 5 are: Two Bodies in the Lab, Killer in the Concrete, Woman in the Sand, Stargazer in the Puddle, and Aliens in a Spaceship.
These are the episodes I could watch over and over. I really love them. They highlight the characters at their best.
I also love the entire Howard Epps arc. The Girl With the Curl comes pretty close to being in my top 5 as well because I love the conversation Booth and Brennan have at the end: "This is what happened when Rome fell... objectification of women, beauty as a sense of self-esteem..."

The End in the Beginning. It's the one that got me hooked, a sentimental favourite and was completely different to anything else I'd seen a drama do before. Plus, I keep seeing that ep in a new light after all the s5 references.
Honourable mentions go to Aliens in a Spaceship (for raw Brennan-ness) and Woman in the Sand for the fun factor.

Killer in the Concrete - The team had to pull together without Booth's experience and find the bad guys before they .... well, did really bad things to Booth.
Brennan asking Max for his help was priceless.
Boot's interaction with the bad guys was awesome - and NO ONE uses Parker to threaten him. The head-but was great!

I like "Harbringers in the Fountain". I like when they meet up again and Brennan sits on Booth not knowing he's there. I like when they stick out their tongues when they think what Angela says is foolish. I thought Cindy Lauper made a great psychic. I liked when Booth said "I love you" to Brennan eventhough he chickened out. I like when Booth comes to the rescue of Brennan in the doctor's office. I like when the psychic tells Booth that sometimes you have to settle for second best. I like the end when the psychic says everything is going to work out and Brennan repeatedly asks Booth what the psychic was talking about.

That was a great season opener. I loved all those things, too! I also adored Cyndi Lauper, the fact she was playing the Sister of Avalon (after one of her albums) and that she asked to be on the show after she saw Emily sing Girls Just Want to Have Fun. Oh and Brennans "they gave me medication, so I feel how I suspect people of average intelligence feel all the time" line.
I think "he is dazzled by that truth" has also become a bit of a mantra for me this season.
Perhaps I need to bump this ep up my list of faves...
